Wow, Sue, I'm so sorry! I don't know about any funding agencies, which is what I think you're referring to. Lulu is on the same meds--Lasix, Pino, enalapril, and tumil-K (which would take the place of the stomach antacid). I run out at different times so I'm not sure what they cost a month, but I know the enalapril and lasix pills are cheap. I paid $11.00 for 30 days worth of enalapril and I think Lasix is about that much. I'll have to check on the Pimo because the only time I had to buy more I had to go to the ER vet and buy it because my vet was out and couldn't get it for a week, and ER vet was high--$65.00 for 30 days. They even told me they were high. I know Zarita hates pills, but maybe if you put it in peanut butter it would be too hard for her to get it back out unlike cheese or a pill pocket or pill popper. The other thing too is that the price for me may be different than the price for you on meds because of where we live. Maybe call your vet and ask how much pills would be a month and see if they are much cheaper than you are paying to have meds compounded.
Life is better because I have a friend like you.
