When I was putting on my backpack the other day, the Nutri-Cal fell out of my easy-grab pocket and I just shrugged and left it in the trunk of the car.
We don't need it any more! Laurel is 16 weeks old today.
She's still kind of unpredictable with food: sometimes she eats a lot, sometimes she hardly eats at all, and she is not motivated by training treats AT ALL when it comes to dreaded toenail clipping.
I've got her on Stella & Chewy's dehydrated raw for meat which gives us more flexibility for sharing fruits, vegetabes, and grains. She likes polenta, but she still goes absolutely nuts over millet.
As far as being my little adventure dog, she's the best of both worlds: if I can get her out on the trail for "puppy zoomies", she keeps me in shape and motivated but nothing is sweeter than letting my sleeping dog lie in her repurposed infant sling and wake up somewhere beautiful on top of a mountain.
