I have been using Solid Gold Barking at the Moon for several months now and it is rated very high on the chart for a perfect kibble, I love the ingredients problem is...their poo smells horrible (not even like poo?) Also Chibis eyes smell like their poo? (not as strong but the same general odor?) I took them off an started them on another (descent) dog food and the odors have went away? Has anyone else experienced anything like this in changing foods?

THEY STAAANK!!!!!
I haven't gotten any satisfactory answers about it yet from the company either, they won't even answer me back as to whether they changed any ingredients!

Barking at the Moon may not work well with your chis' digestive systems. What works with one dog may not work for another one.

Bella and Lina are eating Wellness Core (high protein, grainless dry dog food) and are doing great on it. They don't stink and they don't have smelly feces either. Their feces were smellier when they used to eat Merrick Turkducken.

Please keep us posted on your boys' new dog food. Hopefully, the new food will work out better for them.

Since I have switched Chloe from Purina to Innova.. her coat has become so much softer and less dried out ... but... she is soooooo GASSY!! Yikes the girl stinks lol.. I am going to finish it out and maybe switch to Orijen just because she is one stinky girl... but other than that I have beeen extremely happy with the overall results of the food

When Yoshi switched over to Orijen her poos got 'healthier' looking, but more smelly ... so now she tries to bury them in her pads if I don't pick them up fast enough. But I think they are only smellier because RC had something in it so their poo wouldn't smell as much. Which made me kinda worry if it interferes with their poo like that, it can't be too good. But anyway, since switching her tear stains have almost completely gone away, and her allergies are better :D

I switched Sandy from Kibbles N Bits to Pedigree.
And, now I'm in the process of switching her from Pedigree to EVO.
When I switched her from Kibbles N Bits to Pedigree the change was AMAZING.
She began to poop less.
Her poop didn't stink as bad.
Her coat got shinier.
She no longer acted sick. (she used to throw up all the time- the vet recommended switching foods; so did Dogster as Kibbles N Bits OBVIOUSLY isn't quality)
She even seemed happier.
Now that I'm switching; again; she seems A LOT happier.
A LOT healthier.
She's down to pooping 1-2 times a day.
She's even more active.

Cinnamon didn't agree with the EVO. She acts really unhealthy on high quality foods. And her coat is ugly on them. And she poops more. And stinks.
On low quality we have no problems.

I'm searching for a high quality food that agrees with ALL my dogs; haven't found one yet.

Point is, dogs react differently to foods. Something that works for one dog; won't work for the other.

That's why all five of my dogs are on different foods. o____o

Well poo! Solid Gold is a grainless, high protein as well I guess it just isnt agreeing with them:-( I hate that as it is one of the only Great dog foods that are sold near by. I need to start ordering online I guess? Any body have a good site where they buy Orijen or Wellness?
