So this evening someone asked me to bring Jukka to church because their kids wanted to see her again. Well this wasn't the first time I had taken her to church and she has always done really really good. Well today some guy just took her out of my hands and started walking around with her. Jukka literally got the poop scared out of her. That has never happened before...she is always fine when other people hold her. And everyone basically blames me because she is my dog. To make matters worse there was this guy that I kinda like there and the people kept going on and on about it. So I left as fast as I could but now I just want to hide.
When the guy took Jukka she was doing this little growly thing but he still walked away with her. And it kinda surprised me when he did it or I would have said something. Then after the fact I just wanted to get out of there so I didn't say much.
Awww...my daughter's chi has done that too!! She did it on Santa's lap!! LOL!
On the church note, my hubby is pastor of our church and my chis go to church with us ALL the time!!! They went last Sunday with me!!! They have went since they were very little so they are used to it and are very well behaved during our service. I take them in their bag and they just sit in there and chill out. In fact, I play all the music in our church and I can put them in their bag beside my keyboard and play the entire service with them sitting right on the platform beside me in their bag. I love my chis!! They are angels!! Last Weds they went for our prayer service and again were angels. Our church is the Deepwater Community Church in NJ. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!!!!!
That is so cool. I wish I could do that with Jukka. I try putting her in a dog bag but she just cries and I feel bad. She is normally really good with new people but this time she was scared for some reason.
My puppy training classes were in a church hall.. I presume it depends on the different church.
Krysto you need to get her use to her carrier so she loves it like her bed then she'll be more than happy. Daisy's carriers are in my kitchen and she randomly goes and sits in them.. or hides toys and bully sticks for when she goes out in it!! I got her to sleep in it a couple of times and fed her in it a couple of times when we first got her!! Actually she hasn't been out in it for so long since she's been walking should prob re introduce her!
