Default Paris is a big girl now!!!

Well, I was just wondering the other day why this hadn't already happened since she is 10 months old today. Well, I just checked and PARIS IS IN HER FIRST HEAT!!! I don't plan to breed her. I want to have her spayed but from everything I have seen and read, once you have them spayed the pick up weight....any thoughts on that? Or experience? Thanks for any help you can offer! My Bruiser is already fixed so I don't have to worry bout that!

Awww, she's becoming a big girl now. Yes, S/N can make them gain weight. But more exercise, and change in their diet can help.

Awhhh!!! She's officially a young lady now!

I'm HOPING that when my Tifa gets spayed she puts weight on!! She is barely over 3 lbs, and could use another 1/2 lb on her!

My Little Lady was spade just after she turned a year old. She never gained weight. She weighed around 3.5 LBS when she died at 8 years old.

Brody didn't gain weight after his neuter. Well, other than what he normally would have gained with age. He didn't get heavy/overweight. He's still slim and trim!

Chance gained over 1 lb. at 19 months old when he was neutered! Eeeek! He was 1/2 lb. underweight before, and now 1/2 lb. overweight. It's pretty common for them to gain, so I'd just up the exercise, and maybe cut back a bit on food from the get go.

A raw fed dog doesn't gain weight like kibble fed dogs, so if she gains just cut back her food a little.
