Default up date on Zarita

Hi everyone. Zarita is doing well, as far as her heart goes. Coughs everyday, but not often. Her problem is arthritis in her shoulder. I have tried 2 medicines that are 'added' to her Metacam. They really do a 'number' on her, making her really sleepy, and nauseated. Sooo I just decided that the metacam would have to do. She limps quite badly, BUT races to the back door if the big dog starts barking, and looks for something to bark at!! She will be 11 on the 29th of this month.

Susan, it is good to hear she is doing so well with the heart issues.. The arthritis is so difficult to handle as far as pain relief. Our pug that we lost 2 weeks before he turned 17, suffered from it ao much, even with meds.

Neko goes in every 3 months to check his heart murmur. His Lasix and his Benazephril have done a really good job in controlling the coughing most days. I notice he does sleep alot more than before, but he will be 13 on March 12th.. so his age likely contributes to his sleeping more.
