Default Why must they grow??

OMG! I can't believe how much Boss has changed since we first got him. He's 8wks now (I've decided that his birthday is 8-22-05..that was my grandpa's birthday too) and just as wild as ever. He is always playing or attacking Lina...or my feet lol. He runs around the house all day long and I've started leaving him home if I'm just going across town to my grandparents house (if I'm going to be out all day and not where I can check in on him, I take him with me). He can jump the step from the living room to the kitchen too, which I think is too amazing. He seems to small.

He is eating dry food now, not mixed with wet at all. It's Eukanuba but I'm thinking of donating it to the shelter and getting some of the kind Lina eats (puppy formula of course). I don't like IAMS products and I feel like an idiot not knowing that.

He still wakes me up a couple times at night but I put my t-shirt in there from the night before every night and a hot water bottle. He sleeps longer with those in there than he did without them. I also put him in a little portable crib that used to be Gaiges (my son) so that he can't just wonder around the bedroom getting into everything.

He's just the best puppy I'm really proud that he is using his pee pads. My bf gets mad when he has accidents on the floor (usually right where Lina has them), but I think he's doing incredibly well for an 8wk old puppy that didn't use them before he came here. I remind him of that all that every time he gets mad at him for it.

I'm planning on getting him a crate soon. He'll sleep in Linas just fine but she doesn't want to share her bed with him lol. I don't blame her one little bit for it either. He's constantly up and down when he's in bed with us. But, I think he'd do fine in a crate now, just not that pet taxi thing we had him in.

Oh! He barked the other day for the first time too!! It was too cute! I don't think he knew he could do it until he heard the sound come out lol. He was playing with Lina (more like attacking her lol) and she just looked at him like, "Oh my gosh he talks!" It was too funny! He did it again today, 3 times in a row! I'm just such a proud chi mommy .

Here are some pics of him. He was 1lb when we took him to the vet a couple weeks ago..he's probably more now. I should get a little infant scale or something to see how much he weighs now. I bet he's gotten heavier. He eats like a little piggie

What's that mommy??

What's Lina got up there?

Oh! I wanna play with it too!! I'm coming up there Lina!! I can't get up there!!

Mommy, Lina won't let me play!!

Fine! I'll play with the chewy then!

He's SOOOOO cute! I wish they didn't have to grow too. I'd love to have my "puppy" Charley back. I wish I could have seen Snoopy when he was 6-8 weeks. I got him at 11. They change so fast that young!
