Default My boys love their toothbrush

so I know teeth are important to overall health in all living things. I decided to start the boys off early with brushing their teeth. Right now they mostly chew on the brush while I try to brush. Not much gets done but it's a start to good dental hygiene. Here are a couple pix from our morning brush. Also, how often should we brush their teeth?

That is exactly how we started Jaxx with tooth brushing. At first I think he thinks it is just another yummy toy. He has gotten to the point that he does not object to me cleaning his teeth now.
The toothbrush shot is so cute!

Love it Venus is awesome with letting me brush her teeth. Ocean... I can tell her previous owner didn't expose her to good dental hygiene

Ok may be stupid and obvious answer but I only have one toothbrush... Should they have their own? When preparing for our pup we had only planned on one pup so I didn't get 2 brushes and here we are with 2 pups 1 brush.

I wondered this too.....ended up buying one for each though. Mine had their teeth cleaned about a month ago. I am on the daily brushing routine with Prince who has some issues due to retained baby teeth not being removed (this was before I got him or the breeder got him). The breeder brushed his teeth regularly and I let it slide a bit. He has adapted very nicely and no longer gives me a hard time. Lady over the last several brushings has done much better too. I am shooting for 3-4 times a week with her. They are not "brush chewers" unfortunately but I feel like their brushing is now doable in the long term!

Yea I will end up getting another toothbrush just to be safe. They love the toothpaste so off to good start I think especially since they are 9weeks old.

Aww you have beautiful boys. Lucky pups to have each other. I bet they play
a lot together, don't they? It's so nice to watch pups grow up together.

Yes they do everything together. It is great fun watching them but can be overwhelming too. Outside training is hard... One gets it and the other doesn't. But I had twin kids and know I need to work with each individually... But they are too cute together
