So here's the whole litter I don't know how to upload so Im doing it one by one. I separated both the long haired one and the one the arrow is pointing too. She's the runt and smallest in the litter, does that mean she will stay smaller than the rest? Or will she be the same size with time.

In this picture you can see truly how much smaller she is from the rest. She wasn't too playful unlike last time, she seemed sleepy. Got me a little worried.

Sometimes runts arent always the smallest. Sometimes they can grow up to be the biggest or in between all the different sizes that his/her littermates are. I know that some cp members here has had runts who grew to be the biggest or was bigger than majority of its littermates. Im pretty sure that others will chime in and give you better info 😆 by the way she is ADORBS!!!

Often a runt will end up the same size as its siblings. How big were the parents/grandparents? It is normal for some variation in size in a Chi litter, if the relatives are small, chances are your pup could be genetically small, rather than a runt.
It is normal for young puppies to sleep a lot, possibly you just caught her at a sleepy moment. Maybe you should go and visit again to put your mind at ease.

Thanks yes, her head was tilting back and eyes were closing my husband said she was sleepy. And the diffrence in size is pretty extreme, her whole structure seems smaller. Which I like, my oldest one Mia wasn't the runt but she was the smallest and stayed at less than 2lbs and now she's 4. Regardless of her size and going to love her anyways. And yes her grandparents were on site, as well as her great grandparents from the dads side, they were small I want to say in 4lb range. She's just a hobby breeder so she's a nice elderly lady. I wanted to choose a champion breeder but there was only one I liked here in Florida and after waiting months for her litter she proceeded to tell me the pups were $3,200 when she told me previously they ranged from $500 to $2,500 and that it needed to be perfect to cost $2,500 which rarely happens. I wouldn't spend so much on a dog, even if I wanted to my husband would kill me lol My sisters keeping the long haired boy so Im able to compare lol he's adorable.
