It's not so funny!! When she was a baby everyone laughed so I think she thinks its amusing!!

I thought she saw me as her mommy.... Obviously that's not the case sometimes lol!!!

It is not sexual. She is showing her dominance over you. Not something I would laugh at at or encourage.

That would explain why Im the only one she does it too. It's so gross, she doesn't do it often. I have a strong character but my dogs melt me... Maybe Im a push over..

Dogs thrive on routine and knowing what is expected. Try some basic training. Don't feed them or play with them without them earning it first. Sit, stay, whatever you want to train. Don't let them win. Become the leader of your pack. Your dogs will thank you for it. It is stressful for dogs to try to be the one in charge. They would much prefer you do it. It is amazing how many behavioral challenges melt away when dogs learn where they fit in the heirarchy of the family. People first. Dogs second.

Yes very true, she has completed basic training she's extremely smart. She has never even had an accident which is incredible compared to my other ones. She listens to my husband but not to me. She doesn't do this to anyone except me, Im going to talk to the trainer and see what I can do. Needs to stop.

Every time she even starts to try it, give a firm no, and remove her from your arm. Set her on the floor and ignore her. Do this over and over every single time. Chances are that behavior will stop. Make sure no one laughs, or other commands are being given from hubby at the same time. She has to see that you won't tolerate her "commanding" you. Give it a whirl for awhile and keep us posted.

Thanks I will, shes a handful as far as her personality. When she was a puppy she did it but then stopped and now she did it again. Needs to stop, she doesn't do it often but when she does she makes sure we have guest over lol maybe she gets jealous of the new people and wants to feel like Im hers. Im not sure, but it needs to stop. It's usually with my foot or my shoes.... Thank you!

Rolo used to do that to me to when he was little but thankfully grew out of it! He would also do it to visitors, much to my sister-in-laws amusement. I just used to remove him from her arm and say "Rolo, will you please stop dominating auntie Tracey" and if he was persistent pop him in his cage. I suppose in a way it was a good job she found it funny, I know other people in my family would be horrified
