Hehe cuties! Don't you just love the wet dog smell?
Do your pups get the zoomies after a bath? Mine go crazy running
around chasing each other after every bath, it's so fun to watch, lol.

I'm new to this place. I'm finding it difficult to use on my iPhone.
Anyways my question is how often do you bathe a chihauhau?
I've only had my Bella for 3 weeks. I'm also new to this breed.
Thank you

Welcome to the forum!
I bathe my dogs every couple of months. You don't want to bathe frequently
as it will strip the natural oils from their coats and dry them out. So do it only
when necessary. My dogs walk a lot, so what we do is simply rinse their
bellies, paws and bums with luke warm water after each walk(no soap), or
simply use a wet rag to wipe them. Also what you feed will make a huge
impact on your dog's coat as well as overall health. A good balanced diet will
also eliminate the "doggy smell" so frequent baths won't be necessary. What
are you feeding? How old is your dog?

I love when dogs go crazy after a bath! My mini schnauzer would do that and it was hilarious. Makes me sad that we don't have a yard for Odie to go wild in.
