My son and daughter-in-law and my 4 granddaughters came to visit for a week from California! So much fun!! They meandered across the country in an RV, sightseeing along the way, for a couple of weeks, with Nashville as their final destination before taking a different route home.
I have a large family, the rest of whom are here in Nashville, and my house was the hang-out place for everyone. It got really crazy! But it was also just endless fun. When the family gathered, there were 10 adults and 7 kids under 10. Quite a madhouse in my little home.
This is shot number .... 12 I think it was .... just trying to get a decent photo of all my kids and their spouses, and the grandkids together. Still not great, but you should have seen some of the outtakes!
And of course the kids all wanted to play with the dogs all the time! They were allowed supervised play with them when they could be watched. For the rest of the time I set up an area for the dogs in my office where the kids weren't allowed. To have that many people in my house on a daily basis and leave the dogs loose was just a recipe for disaster!
The dogs finally calmed down enough to allow Savannah and Josie to hold them. Of course the girls were ecstatic!
And a couple random ones of Jazz playing peek-a-boo in the covers
And another random one of the McChis using my house mate as their bed.....and just btw, he loves every minute of it! Since we moved in together, having the dogs love on him and taking ownership of him (especially Tango who is now his shadow) has actually lowered his blood pressure. It's normal for the first time in 10 years!
