Default My new chi carrier

I made myself a tote bag to carry Lilo. Not that I often put her in bags, but occasionally it's necessary!

My little model.

Your bag is fabulous: how is Lilo taking to being carried around like a little diva? (While Frodo prefers to walk, Florrie loves her bag. If I put it on the ground when we're out in the park, she crawls into it and waits for me to pick her up!) Have you included a safety tether, or is Lilo secure in there without one?

Aww thanks.

Coco was like Florrie as a little puppy. She crawled into bags if I put them on the floor and loved it in there. It was so cute! but when she got older she started hating it and preferred walking. Lilo isn't keen on bags, but when she's exhausted from walking she loves it. I put a blanket or hoodie at the bottom to make it comfy and she stays very calm the whole time. She's never tried to jump out, but I always leave the leash on and hold onto it just to make sure.

Including a safety tether is a good idea, I don't know why I didn't think about it. I'll do that with my next bag!

Cute bag, i'm thinking i might need to start putting habby in a bag when i take him out since he hates walks so much. But that could just be because of his long fur and it's summer here with weather in the 90s.

How old is Habby? Lilo used to HATE walking. It took me so long to get her to walk! It's good to have a bag to carry them when they're tired (or to sneak them in places secretly ), but it's also important for them walk outside so I'm really glad Lilo finally likes it (or tolerates it at least). lol It could definitely be the heat, Lilo is more happy to walk on cooler days.
