He is so intent! Romeo does the same thing whenever Sean has food; he knows who the sucker is .
I did have to look up prawns though, never heard of them before. Lol

Actually, prawns and shrimp are different. They are very similar though. Mine like shrimp, but that is a rare treat here.

I think in the UK prawns are actually what we would think of as shrimp, I don't think they have prawns like you get on the US gulf coast over there. At least according to my British husband.

But I do give the dogs a shrimp or two with dinner when I have them, Copley and Nova love them but Kerri is still on the fence about seafood.

I'll have to try Midgie on a shrimp next time we have it. I've always been afraid to give it to her, but I feed her Atlantic Cod and she loves it.

In the UK we differentiate between shrimp, which are tiny native shellfish, and prawns, which are what Americans call shrimp (talk about two nations divided by a common language!). My dogs haven't had anything fishy yet - I will have to give it a try. They're fed a mainly raw diet too, but so far that hasn't included sea food.

We call the larger species prawns (because scientifically that's what they are). In addition to size difference, prawn and shrimp gills and legs are different. I help catch them on vacay in the summer... I don't eat them though.
