This is not related to dogs but........it is snowing tonight in SC. This is absolutely unprecedented for this area (especially in November). Plus, it was 72 degrees this afternoon before a front came screaming through. We have so little snow, it is a true novelty!!!!
As a " northerner" I don't get excited to see the snow, albeit very pretty at times...but when it's a couple of feet deep and -30c it's hard to like it
I can't wait for our house to sell so we can move to a hot climate year round
As a kid growing up in Charleston, every winter I would sing "Let it Snow". Now that I live in VA my dad picks on me asking why I am not singing LOL.
1. I can drive through a hurricane, surf a hurricane, turn a car into a boat but I can't even WALK in the snow.
2. Husband takes my keys as soon as the first flakes hit and I am not one who likes to be stuck in a house!
It is so funny y'all got snow before we did. Wait till I tell my folks. LOL LOL LOL
AND MY BLOOD STAYED TRUE TO ITS SOUTHERN ROOTS! IF IT IS BELOW 75 DEGREES I AM COLD. So during the winter I look like the marshmellow man from ghostbusters or a Huly Popscicle!
I love how snow here can be the focus of the news for a week in advance. We have had very little snow the past two years. I am hoping this is our year. I need some extra free days. A little snow shuts everything down here. What I don't want though is an ice storm. Those are scary and bring down power lines and trees like mad!!!
