Odie agrees! She only got bathed maybe once this year but if I'm carrying her and we pass a sink, she turns her head the other way and clings on for dear life. Poor dogs! Haha

I would bath my girls, but they seem to stay clean! They have beautiful coats, shiny & thick. Am I wrong?? I was told by their breeder to only bath them if they needed it. Obviously, I clean them if needed. I had a Bichon before the girls that I had groomed and bathed every three weeks. Before that I had Cocker's that were groomed and bathed every month. It's not like I don't know what it means to have a well groomed dog.
Part of the reason that I came to be a chi lover, (short), was for the ease of grooming. By the way, I LOVE all your long coats! I do know, however, how much grooming is involved.
Long story short.....should I bath more often??
