We've trained Lilo off the leash from the start and her recall is brilliant. We've been working on it with Rocky and he's getting very good, but we do keep him on the leash more depending on the situation. It depends how busy it is. We only let them off the leash when it's safe and we're quite selective about which dogs they can play with / be off leash around. We were practically alone on that beach so it was perfect.
It seems perfect, I need to find a nice quiet beach in Weymouth area lol.
I'm currently trying to let mine off but last week, Delilah who has perfect recall at home smelt something in the hedge and she wouldn't come to me, tinker!!! It scared me a bit cus I always thought she'd never leave my side. I'll keep trying though as seeing yours running free is so nice.

Hope you manage to find somewhere quiet and safe. I get a bit scared too and I'm always scanning the surroundings like a hawk to make sure they're safe lol but they have so much more fun off the leash that it's worth it imo.

You must be so proud of those two little pixies! So cute! The energy from those two just pops! But they sure know how to relax, too! The pics of them chilling are priceless!

Thank you! I do feel very lucky. They are both amazing and so perfect for each other (and us!).
