Default Carolina's first Pariero clothes

Loving this shopping thing. So glad I can finally find/get some stylish, quality clothes for Carolina. It's so hard to find stuff when their tiny.
I think we did ok on size (what do the clothing experts think?) Hope she doesn't get any longer, but has some room if she fills in a little more if needed.

Awww love the no 5 top and the PE hoodie. She just makes it with the length. That is exactly how Pariero xs fits my Ava. She is 8" long and 3 1/2 lbs. She wears ss in everything but the tees. For some reason ss tees run bigger. They fit my 4 1/2 lb girl.

As for length, I don't think your girl will get any longer. But she will fill out more.

Here's Ava in xs pariero tee

Thanks for the input. I agree on length she just makes it. I'm finding out though I have to shop with neck and chest sizes in mind more. If their too big she wiggles her way right out of her clothes. I have an xs item in hip doggie and the length is great but it's too big in neck and chest and about an hour after she has it on she wiggled right out of it. The xxs she can't get out of but its a little shorter.

Thank you. Carolina is 10 months, 14 days. I can't believe she's getting close to a year old. But since she's only 2lbs 6 oz. she still looks and feels like the forever puppy. It's been hard finding clothes that fit in every way and I've been waiting until she was closer to adult size to really spend on better quality that will last longer. Everyone here has been so helpful with that. I will enjoy it all that's for sure.

It will be really tricky in the beginning. But once you get a few pieces from each brand you love, you will have a better idea of how sizing works. For instance...in most brands, tees are a lot shorter in length than tanks that have ruffles on the end. So for Ava, LD xs tees work great for her, but tops work best in small and dresses and hoodies work best in small. She is a consistent size 1 in Wooflink, with the exception of the Happy day out top?! It's really from an old collection and it ran really small lol. It looks okay on her, but not my fave lengthwise. In Pariero she's a consistent ss, but xs in tees. I've found on here that a lot of our chis are in between sizing wise. Either causing most of us to go up in size, sacrificing girth, or down in size getting a great fitting girth, but a bit shorter length. So you'll have to figure out which look you can accept? A bit shorter length, or perfect in neck and girth. I think Carolina will fill out more in girth, which should be a big help. However, she is long in length for LD xs and I'm thinking you may not like the length. LD xs is typically smaller than Pariero xs which is tiny lol.

I am learning more and more that most brands intend for back length to go just past mid back? Where my preference is just a pinch away from base of tail. Which wouldn't work for skirts and pants, as the shirt would cover them too much. So I think most brands intend length to go right at the waist line.

very very cute !!! i'm glad you were able to get that no 5 tank. I wanted the black one too after receiving the cream colored one and seeing how nice it was and at such a bargain but they were all sold out . I have some more pics of Ellie but just havnt gotten to putting them on PHotobucket yet. we have been getting so much snow here in Worcester , Ma . I cant believe it but we are the snowiest city in the USA this winter and have gotten 94.2 inches of snow so far and are expecting some more ( up to a foot more ) , on Saturday night. I don't like snow either so I have not been happy about this at all !!!

Thank you. I'm glad I was able to get it too. It was a great bargain. I ordered the Wooflink, Happy Day Out top in size 1 this week. Would have loved to have gotten more, especially since I saw Melissa just added the new collection and with the sale going on, but thought I better start with one item until I can try it on Carolina and see how it fits.

Look forward to more pics of Ellie. I thought of you this week when I was listening to the weather. Living in Northeast PA we also hear weather updates for the New England states and all they talk about and show pictures of is all the snow you have gotten with more to come. I'm with you on not liking the snow. Don't like cold weather either.
