My boyfriend got me a new camera for my birthday, a small compact one that is easier to carry than my huge Nikon DSLR. I still need to figure out how to use it properly, but I thought I'd share a few test pictures of the chis (of course hehe).
Rocky being a cutie
Lilo being brave, looks like all the recent socialising is paying off! She's been doing so well in the last couple of weeks.
"No pics mummy... can't we just goes outside please, UGH..."
And we spotted this absolutely tiny mouse yesterday, all alone on the pavement... I don't know much about mice/rats, but at this size I thought it might be a young harvest mouse (??), although I'm not sure why a harvest mouse would be in the middle of London. lol The poor thing seemed a bit lost and wasn't even afraid of us... It was so so cute though.
Camille, your furbabies are adorable!
What camera are you using? The pictures are really good, especially those taken in outdoors. I love the first pic of the mice. It's really good.

Thanks. The camera is Sony A6000, a compact mirrorless. These pictures were all taken on auto so I can't wait to test it properly on manual and see how good it can get! It can take really good videos too.

Oh, you're gonna love mirrorless camera. They're just as capable as DSLR in taking pictures/video, with the advantage of being very small and light. I think my olympus om-d em-5 weights about 1.3 pounds with the lens.
Although, when in my room I prefer to take pics with the phone, cause it's always somewhere near me.
Lovely pictures Camille! You are such a great photographer. The dogs look like they had a fun time out on the town. Though the weather has been nice here, I haven't gotten to take my dogs anywhere. Chicago was stricken with a deadly canine flu and it has spread to western Chicago suburbs, which is where I am. So for now the pups can only stay in our porch or balcony. I'll just enjoy pics of your pups on their outings in the meantime 🐶😊.

Yeah I'm loving how small and portable it is! That's the main reason why I wanted a mirrorless initially. I was afraid it would be downgrading, but you're right some of them are just as good as dslr. According to reviews this one is meant to be even better than my Nikon D80. But I also use my phone too when I need to take a picture quickly before the moment is gone. hehe
