You could see, when we got her that she was malnourished. We're working on getting her at a healthy weight.
We also have a 15 yr old cat (rescued feral that we have known since she was born to her feral mother right outside our doorstep in Dallas, Texas. She got sick and, well, needed help....long story that you can all figure out the ending to! LOL). We also have a bird and fish - really my son's pets!
I like all the other animals but I am a dog person at heart.
She looks to be about that age. But I'm not good at guessing age by pics. I can tell she is still a gal, as she looks it 😊.
From what I've seen, she doesn't look all that under weight. Chi's should be lean, you should be able to see their waist and feel their ribs but not too much. What things are you giving her to help her bulk up?
I like cats. And I like small dogs, but I prefer chi's lol as you've seen, I have 4 of them. Would you ever consider getting a chi companion for Dorothy? Chi's love the company of other chi's. I'm sure they do well as only pets too. My first chi Bailey wasn't the only pet for long.
I have an aunt who lives in Texas, I'd love to visit her sometime in the near future.
