I was an obsessed chi momma this weekend. I spent a lot of time enjoying the pups and socializing Ivy (my new short coat pup who is 5 months). Everyone enjoyed some new things as well.

Here is the whole clan. Finally got of picture of them all together!

Ivy and Jewel went to PetsMart with me. Ivy was a little scared. She just had her last vaccine a week ago so this was her first trip to such a store. I'm loving their new Wooflink bag that just came in. It is such a pretty color of pink.

Jewel modeling her new Your Rock outfit from Wooflink. Again, love the pinks in this collection!

My bag! Me no want to share.....

Not to be outdone, Sapphire is looking stylish in her Pariero denim coveralls and new Louis Dog Smile Tank.

Finally, last week Ivy spent a day at my office! She did great! Big office little chi!

Great photos! It looks like you have all had a lovely weekend. I love your gang :D
I would love to have as many as you do. Looking at your crew makes me want a long coat. I absolutely love sapphires colour, what is this colour officially called on her pedigree certificate? I would love to get one with the same colour I think it is beautiful! Also well done for getting them all posing together for a photo. The wooflink carrier is very nice too!

Honestly Stella was right...three is the gateway dog. Not much difference having five. I think it helps that Ivy is a bit older (5 months). She is very easy to manage, never barks and gets along well with the others. Since I already have an ample supply of doggie supplies and clothes, that helps too. Actually, I'm glad I added one smooth coat for a little something different.

I went from three to five, so I never had four. The only difference i can think of is that it is probably possible to walk four on lead at the same time, two leads in each hand or two couplers.
I don't do a lot of on lead walking, but I tend to take two, then three or have someone else have two while I have three. Most of our walks are driving to secluded areas where they can run free, but I don't take all five out at the same time, I can't keep an eye on all five loose at the same time, it is a two person job lol.
Puppies do learn to fit in really quickly when you have an established pack. Even though the pups are nearly two now, Harley still 'mothers' them, especially Jasper. It is very sweet.

I have not attempted to take all of them for a walk at once. Ivy goes out with either Jewel or Lady and Sapphire. I believe the pack really does help.....especially with potty training. Bath time is the only time I really notice additions. Luckily Ivy being a short coat is easy to bathe. We had a five dog bathing session this past Saturday!

LOL it is just a silly term that I made up!
I noticed that people with one or two dogs tend to stick with one or two. When a third dog is added, a fourth, fifth, or even sixth tend to follow.
So the third dog is the 'gateway dog' because it leads to multiple dog ownership lol.
