Default 3 Weeks, Little Boy "Blue".

Tomorrow marks his 3 week birthday. We currently have him on pureed tripe (cow stomach), dog replacement formula and vitamins. Hopefully it'll help him grow astoundingly in the next week!

We noticed some tears in his eyes today - one eye had a little "hole" in the crease for where it's beginning to separate! (YAY!) Means his eyes are FINALLY beginning to open! One of his ears has become floppy too!

He looks REALLY long-hair to me here. Plus in his eye on the right, you can see it separating a LITTLE!

Floppy Ear!

Big head, little body.

I am trying to walk but I look so pathetic!

Still tiny.

Love him, the little squirt.

Your good thoughts are keeping him alive.

hes looking GREAT! sooo cute and itty bitty, but in comparison to mommy he actually looks like a good size, she looks like a smaller girl (keep that in mind when comparing him sizewise to other puppies around his age...parents size plays a HUGE part!

hes such a cute little squirt and at 3 weeks is well on his way to becomming "big" and strong. the first 2 weeks are always the hardest, if they can get throught that things USUALLY start getting easier! these are the best days, those when they start wiggling and trying to move and those little eyes start opening.

honestly i think you should keep him, trying to part with him will be the hardest thing due to all the time, effort and HEART youve put into him thus far...

if not however ill be waiting on your doorstep when he turns 12 weeks hes definatly long haired and looks like hes going to have a nice full coat.

I know, lol. We haven't really talked about giving him up - but we'll probably end up keeping him just because of everything we have gone through with him. Plus I have always wanted a blue chihuahua, and a longhaired and I may have them all rolled into one!

He is walking around but he wobbles and flips over. It's cute and pathetic all rolled into one, lol.

the wobblies are normal (and ohhhh so cute lol) expect him to still be unsteady on his feet for a few weeks...
ive seen 6 week olds that still trip over their own tails, puppies at his age tend to be "top heavy" so the head tends to go down first lol

I know it's pretty common When Chels had her pup last year, it was healthy and big and we had no worries. With Blue, everything he does, we worry! It's funny though - he has no idea where he is going so he walks in circles, LOL!

He is so darn cute!! And you can tell that he's definitely maturing. Even with the eyes closed, he looks more "alert" in the new pictures. Hopefully the new formula and vitamins will make for a nice fat belly for his 4 week pictures!!

If you don't keep him, I have a feeling you'll have a whole bunch of us lined up at your door to take him!!
