Hi Kristin and everyone,

It is 2 months since we adopted Lina. Time flies by so quickly with 2 chihuahuas keeping us busy. :p

My husband and I rented a vacation home in Saugatuck, Michigan and brought both girls with us for a 3-day weekend. It was cold (40's in the mornings, 50's in the afternoons, and near freezing at night), and we stayed inside the warm house except for walks outside with the girls, all bundled up in their new identical coats.

It was Lina's first vacation with us, and she loved it. Bella and Lina were happy to be with my husband and me, riding in the car, going out for walks to explore new places, and sleeping with Mommy and Daddy in the master bed. Lina was so happy that she jumped on the sofa, rolled all over it, and then lied down with a smile on her face. They are spoiled rotten!

Are you girls ready to go on vacation?

"What's a vacation?"

Relaxing and sunbathing on vacation.

So this is a vacation...

Let's play!

Did Daddy say: "Let's go out for a walk"?

Time for a nap..........I love vacation!

Now mine have finally started to sleep together when I put them to bed at night. It's just the best and so adorable to find them in the morning snuggled up together.
When Bella was our only chi, she used to sleep with my husband and me in our bed. She cried and whined all night, and didn't want to sleep alone in her bed. We gave in, and put her in our bed with us so we could get some sleep.

After a month that Lina joined our family, both Bella and Lina wanted and started to sleep together in their bedroom. Now they sleep together when we put them to bed at night. My husband and I are sleeping much better without a chihuahua in our bed.

About 2 weeks or so ago, Illinois experienced a mild earthquake in the middle of the night. We woke up and found Bella and Lina snuggled right next to each other under the blanket, comforting each other in their bedroom. It was precious to see them bonding in this way. :p

Thanks everyone for your compliments on the girls.

Every day we enjoy watching them play and interact with each other - they're bonding as real sisters. They're loving and good girls, and they adore my husband and me. When we take them out for walks, strangers comment: "They're so cute!"

Our family and friends are telling us we're treating Bella and Lina like human children because we bring the girls everywhere with us and we send photos of the girls via email to them. Well, Bella and Lina are our children, our fur-kids.

Bella has been looking for a sister and found her - Lina. Yes, the girls are spoiled rotten and loved very much. We wouldn't have it any other way. ;)
