Default Anyone up for a little "companion"?

Last night I picked up a chihuahua. His name is Kadan, in Japanese that means companion. I was looking around on the classifieds and came by his ad, and I just fell in love.
He has a pedigree, and I'm going to send in papers for him to be APRI registered. He is very very cute! He will probably be 3 lbs or a little under full grown. His parents are long coat and short coat.

Most of the pictures that I have, he's scratching at his collar, so he looks like same in most.

The problem I'm having is, he can't stand to be alone and I made the kitchen into his little area. I put a crate in there, and also a cute little bed, along with some toys and water and stuff. I can't just leave him lose in the house to roam since he's so little, but he whines and goes off when I leave him in there alone. I have to clean and stuff, so I really have no choice. I don't know what to do, I'm really stressed out from life and I know I probably got a puppy way to soon, but I don't care I love this dog. It's just hard for me to go through the puppy stage again, I somehow did it with Lola but I'm not so excited about doing it again with Kadan. I know I should of rescued an older chihuahua, but this was kind of sudden. I found his ad and had to get him.

What do I do?...
I am fostering this tiny rat terrier (that looks exactly like a chihuahua), and he's like 7 weeks old. He doesn't want to play with Kadan at all, and this thing cries no matter what you do! It's crazy! But Kadan is getting kind of attached to him and the puppy leaves tonight. I'm not really sure what I do...I'm at a loss for words, I don't even know...

Awww, he's precious! Congrats on your new addition. I know it may feel too soon, but only you can decide when the right time is, so I hope he brings you tons of love and joy and happiness.
