Meoqui has been home 10 days now. She acts like she's always been here lol. She certainly didn't have any problems settling in, she's been the model puppy really, much to my amazement! She's out running around the living room at the moment playing with her toys and Milly and she turned tail a moment ago and ran back into her open puppy pen for a pee
Had a drink and was back out playing all in the space of 10 seconds, I was rather impressed! She plays a lot with Milly and loves to snuggle up and sleep right next to her. Milly is quite small for a Jack Russell but still dwarfs MiMi strength and size wise. Don't be fooled though because MiMi holds her own and puts her in her place lol. She frequently nips Milly in play and I'm sure it must hurt but Milly plays Mummy even though she's only one herself and is very good with her. Here's a few pictures from the last week of the pair of posers!
They were cuddled up together under their old towel in this one. I had to lift up the corner to see them lol
These were a few days after the others, MiMi worked REAL hard to get in under Mills leg like that! She's a very determined little thing! Despite the unimpressed look on Millys face she wasn't bothered, she promptly went back to sleep as you can see in the following picture. Milly has paint on her ear because someone insisted on sniffing a newly painted kids bedroom wall
MiMi spends a lot of time lying next to Milly either chewing her directly or her collar. Milly doesn't seem to mind bless her!
As I finish typing this the midgit monkey has jumped up on the sofa by herself and launched herself at my chest for a cuddle and chew on me! 9 weeks 2 days and she just made it onto the sofa
She's teeny tiny, goodness knows how! Milly didn't manage it till 10 weeks and she was twice the size. I'd rather she hadn't just yet to be honest, but thankfully I have a carpet and a soft thick rug on top of that on the floor, I'd have prefered it if she'd stayed on the floor for a few more weeks but ah well I guess we'll just do the teaching her on and off the sofa safely a bit earlier than expected.
One minute later and she's all cream crackered now (perhaps English phrase
) she's doing the blinky eye closing, trying not to give into sleep thing curled up in a ball on a fluffy cushion on my lap, in thirty seconds she'll be in doggy dream land.....yup it's a hard life being a dog in this house
I have a set of pictures from last night of her playing with their "ducky" squeeky toy thing. I'll try and get to post that later on.
Thanks for looking everyone and I hope you like our continuing pictures
