Smile Stacking my 9 week old.

This is Truffles, my male pup at 9 weeks. My first attempt at stacking. Couldn't get his tail up for nothing. lol.

If there is anyone here who shows and is knowledgeable about the standard, then give me your opinion on him. I'd love to know. Dont worry about being completely honest either. I'm trying to get a second opinion.

He's a cutey... I love the little cross-eyed pups! (I'm not sure if he really is, it may just be the camera)

Sorry, I can't help with standard help. I'm sure someone here can, though.

Obviously it is hard to judge a photo but here goes:

Body:
His front is nice and straight, nice length of neck onto a good topline, correct tail set (possibly a little overcurled for a smooth coat but I don't know what they are like for that in the US)
Rear angulation is good too. I can't see what his back end is like but hopefully it is nice and parallel when he moves.
Head:
I think he has a nice shape of head with good ear placement - the light pigment is permissable as he has light eye and colour (again I don't know what judges like in the US) I think that his head needs to develope more and could be nice - I wouldn't like any more length of nose though.

Overall, he isn't a bad little dog.

Hope I haven't offended you....

BTW try standing him a rubber mat on the work surface, he won't slip and it should make him more confident.

Sorry, I can't help you with the matching to breed standard either, but he's cute, does that help?
