So we met up with Way and her husband at 2pm today. It was absolutely a bittersweet moment. I know exactly how hurt they were to have to part with Lina. When I saw Way step out of the car with her I wanted to run up to her...but I restrained myself (I also hurt my back so that could have been stopping me too lol). When Way handed her to me I just wanted to cry! I missed her so much! She sat on my lap the whole way home, except when she wanted to sit with Dave. She acted as though she didn't really remember us, but she sure remembered Boss. lol Who could forget him though right?
When we got home she checked out the house and it was as if a light switched on for her, she knew where she was and who we were and she has been by my side since (except for her 2 potty breaks). She (and Boss) is enjoying a chewie right now. I also got big time kisses! I think it just took her a little while to remember who I was. I am so happy to have her home again!!
She looks so happy in the car, like Im home. Congrats, I understand its very bittersweet right now but she has two great familys that love her to death and then sum.
lol I'm trying to get some pics. But I don't want to overwhelm her lol. Plus, I hurt my back yesterday and I'm attempting to take it easy now that Lina is back and I don't have to go anywhere... But I PROMISE I will post more SOON!
