Default Backyard stroll

The girls (and guy) went out for a stroll in the backyard. They're rather skittish, so right now the backyard is pretty much the only place they'll comfortably romp.

As usual, it was hotter than you-know-what outside. Alaska...oh, Alaska...wherefore art thou Alaska?

Pearl and her huge Dumbo ears.

Of course, Tilly is not to be outdone by her sister. Her ears are quite substantial as well.

My Tilly Willy. We only managed about 6 mins. outside because of the heat. My girls are surprisingly not as heat tolerant as Boo or Poppet were.

Ah, air conditioning.

I wish I could take them outside more, but the heat is just horrendous out there. Always into the high 90's and sometimes hitting past 100 degrees. Around 8 o'clock it cools down, but then the mosquitoes come out with a vengence. Oh well. Fall will get here in what...four months time?

Thank you Brodysmom. When Pearl was younger, she looked sort of like Brody, but now that she's growing up some, she's losing some of that delicate boned appearance that Brody still possesses. A shame really, as I think your boy is gorgeous, but I'm interested to see how she will turn out (her sister too) once their adult bodies are here to stay.

South Georgia. About an hour from the Florida border. The heat bad enough, but the humidity is what kills me. Sometimes I have the air running just to get the stickiness out of the house. IT's horrible. But I admit that I perversly love it in the South. If I ever moved, I'd probably end up on Louisiana...which is the same as Georgia except you substitute bayou for swamp.

I do think my babies are lovely, and I adore every one of them BUT...I think even the naysayers on this board will have to admit (after seeing the pics of her) that my baby has a gargantuan head. It's like a watermelon pearched on a celery stalk.
