Well done, you are a person I would like to call a friend.. you have my respect. Deb
Awwww, Deb..... that is so sweet of you..... I appreciate you!!
Words like those.... from people like you.... make all the sleepless nights and the hell we sometimes go through in getting these little ones to the point of realizing a "real life of love".... TOTALLY worth it!!
Right now, we're doing it all over again.... well, not to the extent of my precious Emma.... but I just took in seven 2 day old Pit Bull babies.... their Mama had an emergency c-section - blood transfusion, etc. and the vet told the owners that she couldn't possibly care for her litter of nine (one passed away)
The owners didn't have time - - so rather than put them all to sleep, they kept two for the Pitty mama and I took in the other seven.
Bottle feeding round the clock - they are now a week old today and thriving.
Wish us luck and lots and lots of energy to keep up with these little guys!!
