Default "Misty Willow"

Yay for memory chip restoration software.. my roommate managed to get the raw files off my fried SD card...

Last week I went on a 3-hour road trip into Wisconsin for her to get a puppy one of my best friends had chosen from a breeder. Of course I'd never say no to accompanying someone to pick up their baby as she'd been waiting for so long.. so Rob and I went with...

I certainly hadn't anticipated bringing one home myself, but this breeder was willing to make a deal =/ on both females... my original intent was to just take her, socialize her, then spay her when at the right age before finding her a new home that was properly SCREENED (unlike the fact that she could be bought by anyone willing to pay the money..)... but that's kinda up in the air now since as you all know it's impossible not to fall in love with a puppy. My future BIL is interested in taking in Aloysius; and if this were to happen, we'd open up our 4th spot (legal limit in IL *rolls eyes*).

My only thing is as most "rescuers" (and I hate using that term as not all of the ones I've taken in have to be "saved" but also family/friend surrenders..) it's very hard not to get attached, especially once I've, in my head, made that commitment to keep them. Like in Aloysius's case.. But Robs brother has wanted a dog for many years, is a brilliantly responsible person not to mention is madly in love with Aloysius and has already been calling him 'his dog' since day one. When we got him he was shy; but he's become so much more well behaved and friendly since I've had him. I'd have comfort in knowing he'll always still be part of the family.. same thing as with Gatsby since he just technically changed ownership and never moved since it was my own roommate who'd adopted him.. =P

Anyway long story short my heart is pulling every direction and this is the little reason why.. meet "Misty Willow" & her sister who's owned by one of my besties Steph, "Stormy Sky Moonshine"

Now look at this smile and tell me I'm not crazy for considering keeping her..

I'm with Deb!!!! On all counts. I guess I'm a little bit lazy too for not writing my own original post.
