Don't feel bad - you were doing what you thought was best for your baby. OmaKitty had some teeth pulled a couple years ago and I was guilt-ridden over that to the point where I was crying myself to sleep at night. But now I see how much happier she is with them gone - she purrs now, which is something I never heard her do before and she is a little bit more loving, although she's not really a lover.
I'm just happy that she's not in pain any more.
My guess is that once she gets up on her feet again, you'll notice a big change in her attitude all because those teeth are gone. You did the right thing for her "back then" and you did the right thing for her now.
