Hi, Tina. It is pretty cool here, literally and figuratively.
I would love to take pictures of the city I live in and show everyone, especially when it gets warmer.
Yes, we are in the process of finding our perfect little girl here in Sweden and we will be naming her Parsley. We have been seriously searching for two months now and every female we've been interested in has been sold to another person nearly immediately. We look through a site called blocket.se where you can list things for sale. A lot of breeders use it to list their litters for sale. I'm looking for a shorthair "applehead" girl, and they seem to be really difficult to come across for sale here, at least in our budget. I'd prefer a pedigree puppy, but it's not necessary as long as the parents are in good health and have had health screenings. Very "high-end" show breeders tend to have more of the girls I want available, but they're usually $2500 and up, and that's just a little too much for us right now. There have been beautiful girls listed with pedigrees between $1200 and $1600 which is perfect, but we are always too late when we call. They literally get snatched up in hours, sometimes minutes. We also don't have a car, and my boyfriend is not willing to take a train for more than 5 hours.
So this also limits my options in finding puppies for sale. I would hop on a train for 24 hours to reach my puppy, but I can't speak Swedish yet, so he is the one that has to handle the paperwork.
Sorry for hijacking your thread, Pam, lol.
