My sister bathed Rocky the other day, and I seriously thought he would never forgive her. He pouted all day! Lilly is the same way. Toby doesn't like baths during, but he is a very happy little boy after. He runs around all frisky- he loves being clean!
Daisy is still pouting. I think because she had to get her head and ears washed too, god they were smelly. She wants to be snuggled and swaddled right after a bath till shes almost fully dried than she wants to run like crazy. I warned her the past few days once Mommy has some free time she was going to get a bath.
But she was screaming, clawing, and trying to nip when it came nail clipping time. Than I remembered one of the people on here had her dog swaddled in a blanket to do the doggies nails. So thats what I did. I love the new nail clippers I bought, easier than human nail clippers. Especially since my hands shake very bad sometimes, these were easier to use.
Thankfully I was able to do it in the sink with a cloth on the bottom of it so she could stand still. Bending over kills my back but our kitchen sink has one of those sprayer things which do wonders! And of course I had a towel near by ready to wrap her. Big sister Rocki watched to make sure Daisy was fine.
Rocki thankfully loves the water and gets you as wet as she is when its bath time. Which of course we did in our sons kiddie pool or the bathtub. But nail clippings omg I feel like I have to sit on her to get those done, but she mostly wears hers down with how much running and playing she does outside.
