Twiggy's turn. Most of you know Twiggy's story, how the animal control officials went to the property to remove some chihuahuas and found her in a cage by herself, severely underweight and disabled. The owners admitted running her over with their brand new caddie and never taking her to the vet because it would cost too much. And they wanted her back if she got better because they could make a lot of money from her puppies. She weighs under 3 pounds. She was taken to the pound and listed on Petfinder, where I saw her and emailed them. The next day I picked her up. She's put on almost a pound and looks so much better. She doesn't let the fact she is mostly three-legged keep her down. She can use her bad leg when she wants, but for speed, she raises the leg and takes off. Don't feel bad for her, she thinks there is nothing at all wrong with her and rules the dog room.
