Smile ~Naughty Bella~

There are times that Bella can't catch up to Chanel, Chanel is 8.5 lbs, pure
muscle, has been walking 6 hours per day since she was a pup, Bella has
only been with us 3 months, weighs only 2.5 lbs and is no where near as
strong. BUT Bella does not like that Chanel is faster, and if Chanel runs
too hard and too fast, then Bella gets grumpy. Here is a video...

I love how Bella runs exactly like Chanel just in smaller circles! She wants to be like her big sis so much!!! It's so cute. And the boys wanna play too.

Poor thing wants to be able to keep up, but her legs are just to short and little.

You know it's funny, but Chanel is actually Bella's little sister, she's about half a year younger. I call Chanel, Bella's little big sister, ROFL.

awww! This is so great to watch!! So LS, you don't have any issues with either of the girls running away from you off leash? I wish I could be more lenient with Miya but at the site of a person or another dog, she tries to take off!

GOOD question!

I'm am VERY pro leash, I do NOT recommend to anyone to let their dog off leash
if it wasn't properly trained, does not have good recall, or is easily distracted.
Bella & Chanel have exceptional recall. Both are not interested in anything if
mama is calling them to come. They are always walking on leash, but once we
get to a large grass area or a field, park, etc, then I let them off leash to run
and play a bit. Rocky and Benji are hunters, and no matter how well trained
they are, they can get distracted by a squirrel and decide to hunt instead of
coming, so in urban areas they stay on leash, and get teased by the girls
having fun running circles around them.

Of course we trained, we trained daily, at every opportunity, at home, outside,
in new locations, with distractions, etc. Started on a 30 foot leash, with praise
and even occasional treats. I find Chihuahuas are very easy to train compared
to most breeds, they want to please their owner so bad, Chanel & Bella love
training and learning, it's fun for both them and I. The Basenji brothers are a
whole other story though. LOL

HA! My younger sister is bigger than me and I'm tiny and petite so she calls me her little big sister and I call her my big little sister.

That video was so cute. Chanel is such a tease, haha.
