The fur kids went to a doggie Halloween party today. They got to wear their Halloween digs! Lady was a ladybug and Prince being the new guy had an eclectic costume of a Halloween tank reading "I'm so corny" (with candy corn decor) and a Halloween scrunchie. There were about 25 dogs at the party sponsored by a local dog boutique and bakery. There were prizes for costumes which we didn't win (hahaha, that's OK). There was a doggie parade around one block of downtown where each dog was judged at various points by other local shop owners when we passed their business. Prizes were for best owner dog combo, most original, etc. We still had fun and my husband even went with me.

I was surprised they tolerated the costumes so well. Prince did not like the scrunchie around his neck at all, he kept trying to chew it off. I moved it around his chest area (behind his front legs) and he was fine. There was some great costumes on other pups.

LOL...at first I thought you put a tutu on Prince. It looked like it on these pics.

There was a store here that was having the same kind of contest but they moved it to Sunday because of the hurricane. But it's was just cloudy in the afternoon today!!

I would have voted for them. They are cute.
