Nice! How do the girls like them? Do they seem escape proof?!?

I think they are escape proof ....the flaps can be snapped when down...lots of areas to open for ventilation...the girls didn't seem to mind being in them...Zari is not as use to being contained as Iz is though...so we will be doing daily practice sessions....

Thanks Kathleen! I may have to check them out for next time I fly. Because as much as Toby enjoyed running through the plane I don't think the crew was happy. Lol.

I'm sure Zari will get used to it with practice.

I have never used this kind of carrier before, do you use them instead of a crate? Or are they just for traveling?

They are travel carriers. I don't really know if you can use it as a crate, since I actually used a metal crate. They are too small for me to use it as a carrier foe Toby and he is 5.3 lbs. Toby's carrier is for when he goes on an airplane or goes places I don't really want him to walk (like the vet).

When we flew for Christmas, he escaped on the plane and ran into a little girls lap. So I am searching for something escape proof, and Kathleen was kind enough to show me the ones she got for her girls for flying.

Ashley...I know it must have been stressful for you when Toby escaped and was running about in the plane...but...I was laughing to myself in the night, picturing him running up and down the aisles like he owned the place I bet the passengers enjoyed his antics !

I have these bags for airline travel....the girls will be on planes and in airports for many hours and I needed ones with fold down flaps for Izzy as she is a stress barker...so far I think they will work fine ...time will tell
