Since the temps have dropped a bit here, the house gets kind of chilly at times with the hardwood floors and all, not to mention the drafts since it is a 150 year old home.

Anyways, I decided to do Angel a favor and hook up the heating pad under a blanket in her bed. She is in puppy heaven! Naturally I unplug it before going out or something because I don't want to risk any accidents. Angel is a digger so I have to be careful of that. But mostly she just lies there soaking up the warmth. She is one happy girl!

Angel would get along fine with Bella...she takes my heating pad away from me all the time LOL...I think I will get a heated mattress pad so her royalness can have her own pad wherever she lays on the bed LOL

You know, I was debating about getting an electric blanket. I don't know though... how safe are they around pets? Angel does have a tendency to lick a lot and then of course there is Luna who licks to dig her claws in while attacking my feet. LOL

I'm amazed Luna hasn't discovered the heating pad and tried to take it over. Angel is usually pretty good about sharing but I don't think she is going to share this. LOL

Very cute pictures. We've never had any problems with our animals and an electric blanket and I don't think Marcus could survive winter without it as he freezes if temps drop below 74.

Thank you all. Tinker, thanks for the input on the blanket. I might just have to try one. I know my husband would sure like one... he is always freezing. LOL

She looks very content, and sweet. Chis sure love the heat! I would get a heating pad for Mo, but I'm afraid he would chew it.
