Just thought I share a few pictures of one of our Chihuahuas, who we got in the beginning of this year. She is now almost 8 months old (she was born in Sept last year 2012). The pictures were taken by my son for his school final year photography project.
She is a very healthy furbaby (blood test, heart and hip results came back all good) although she is just very tiny, only weight 1.2lbs at the vet. She is in fact related and true fresh blood sister of Krystal, the other girl in these pictures. Krystal is only 4.8lbs but she looks like a giant next to Kristina. Our vet said Kristina's growth genes may be very low, so she probably stays at this size since she is almost 8 months old. She is the size like a 6 or 7 weeks old Chihuahua puppy. Have to say, all the Chihuahuas I have in the past when I was a kid to present days, I have never experienced with such tiny baby. She is in fact the bravest girl of all my 7 Chis, every move is more advance than the others at her age.
Wow so little she looks like a little puppy. So cute!
Yes she is just the size of a little puppy of 6 or 7 weeks old but in fact she is already almost 8 months old. I didn't even want to get super tiny Chihuahuas and I didn't expect her to be this tiny when I and my son went to pick her up. The breeder thinks she would be tiny but not this size as both parents are 4 lbs weight. I was kind of scared when I realised she is this size but in fact she's nothing much different from my "bigger" Chis. lol
