Cooper had an accident earlier this year and needed surgery for his knee - luxating pattella. The surgery was about $600 and they covered it. For all surgeries excluding
luxating patella, they cover after 14 days of having the policy in force. For the knees, they require 12 months. But they're very nice and helpful... and it really comes in handy to be reimbursed for expensive procedures (and even the yearly visits).
I have both Cooper and OmaKitty signed up and for both of them, it costs me about $50 a month. I have the superior plan and added the vaccination and double cancer benefits, so we have the most expensive plan they offer. You can do a rate quote online to see how much it would cost.
