Default what time is first wee in the morning?

strange question but when does your chi go wee in the morning? we go to bed late (lillo included) but he cant hold in the morning he always needs to pee about 5 or 6 in the morning. i keep him closed with me in the bedoom so i can hear when he gets up and let him out. only its ruining my sleep patterns as i cant get to sleep and then have to get up a couple of hours later exhausted! lately he just pee's in my room, how can i stop him? he's kind of paper trained too but he is a boy and cocks his leg so it goes everywhere anyway even if i do put paper. any sugestions? i thought of this as i saw the post on litter training - do you think id ever manage to train him to a litter? i guess with the leg cocking thing it would go out anyway? ahhh help!

Actually I'd like help with this too Stitch is up around 5-6am and needs to go to toilet and as he sleeps on my bed he wakes me up and if I'm not quick enough to put him on his wee wee pad he will try and wee on my bed I was just hoping he'd grow out of it and learn to hold it as he gets older cos waking up at 5am isnt my thing lol You've just bust my bubble of hope cos I really hoped I'd be able to say goodbye to such early mornings soon Nemo was sooo good he didnt need to pee till 8am lol

When we got Fudge and Belle my niece was living with us so she could continue schooling in the US till her family moved here and she got Belles brother, so we had 3 small puppies in the house trying to crate train them all at the same time. It worked out ok for us because I usually stay up really late and then my niece would get up for school in the morning so I took them out before I went to bed and as soon as she got up she took them out in the morning. Trust me as they get older they are able to hold it longer Fudge and Belle are both 2 years old and they can wait for 7or 9 hours to go out. I usually go to bed at around 3 AM and then get up at around noon and they never have any accidents anymore(knock on wood). Don't worry it will get better but when they were puppies it seems like you never get enough sleep.

Yeah....same as LadyBelle. Taco sleeps with me and used to get me up like 3 times every night to go outside. Now he sleeps from 10PM until 6AM when he wakes me up.

When Angel was just a baby and still training, she slept in her crate near me. I would get up about 2 times a night to let her out. Now, she is almost 10 months old, sleeps with me and sleeps through the night just fine. We get up around 6am or so, go down stairs and within about 10 minutes, Angel will use her pee pad. (where we live right now, going outside is not very convenient for either of us.)

Tucker is in a small xpen (I just used 6sides to make a rectangle) His house is inside of this then there's a pee pad next to the house (his choice of spots) If I'm sleeping in or he just can't hold it he will go around the corner and pee on the pad. I usually take him to bed at 10 and get up at 6 for work. on weekends he will try to get me up at 6 also but I know he has his pad so I just roll over.
