Default Is My Puppy Adult-ing?

I recently started a thread about how my puppy becomes a bit of a butt when seeing other dogs on walks. Well two days this past week he was a LOT better. Nothing had changed that I can think of, he just seemed calmer throughout the whole day. Mostly he laid around at home afterwards, but didn't sleep as much as usual those days. Is my puppy becoming an adult? Moving out of the teen phase? He's just over 9 months now, what age did yours begin acting more mature?

(here he is at 9 weeks)

Here's a recent pic of him. He's half Pomeranian, but everyone thinks Chihuahua right away.

I can't see the pics. Usually dogs calm down a bit later in age. Puppy to adult personality change does happen. Sometimes the most outgoing dog becomes the shyest and some shy puppy's become very out going. It just depends on the dog.

Woops! Photobucket wasn't working for me so I uploaded to google and that didn't seem like it was working either..

Here he is at 8 weeks:

And at 9 months:

He really is pretty laid back for a puppy so I'm not in a rush for him to mature :P. It was just such a pleasant surprise for him to act so calm on walks out of nowhere. If it's a sign of things to come I can be patient!!
