Default Chis and Min Pins

I know a few of you have Chis and Min Pins and I am curious about a compare and contrast of the two breeds overall from an owner's piont of view. How are they different, how are they similar what are simliarities and differences in personality, in house training in everthing, even in health. I love both breeds but since i dont have the room for a dog yet I am very curious as to info on both from people who own both. Thank you.

I don't have a minipin now but my grandma had one and after she passed away we kept hers for a few months before another family member who really wanted a pet was given her. She was actually pretty similar to the chis in my opinion, she loved to run around and play with them and once tired would crash on the couch although generally they're supposed to be a little more hyper. They're both great breeds.

well i babysat one for a month. and i found that they have the same energy like the person above said. they love to run, play ect.. but i found that altleast the one i had learned tricks ect.. just as fast as my chi. but wasnt as intelligent in the scense of actually THINKING. he bumped into the same glass door about 100times, and i play this game with my dogs that i take a treat and put it under a plastic cup and see how they go about getting it. all my dogs suceeded in under like 2 seconds there 1st times, but the min pin didnt even think to try knocking over the cup or ANYTHING he just looked at the cup and looked back up at me asking for another treat lol. i am NOT saying that all min pins are like this, but thats my experience. he was very cute, and i loved babysitting him and he NEVER Failed to make me laugh lol and if i had a choice id have both breeds in my house all the time, i would never be bored lol

I never had minipincher, but I know some people that own both breeds.
All of them say that pinchers are much much much more hyper than a chis.
They have tons of energy.

My roommate's sister has two Min Pins and they were over the other day playing with my chi, and I did see alot of similarities. I think both breeds are high energy (hyperactive). This is good because then they can keep eachother occupied. Min Pins are also not that big in size, so that's another good thing. All I know is that my chi got along very well with the Min Pins that were over. She usually doesn't take to dogs of other breeds right away, but she had no problem adjusting to the Min Pins.
