Default Nutro Natural possibly making Rudy sick

About a month ago I switched Rudy to Nutro Natural from Buffulo Blue. I notice every now and then he'll throw up a little, not the food just bile. I wonder if it has to do with the new food? Maybe it's too rich? Any thoughts?
Today I'm going back to Buffalo Blue hoping he no longer gets sick.

Usually throwing up a small amount of yellow bile means they're hungry. I give my chis a small treat before bedtime so their tummies aren't empty overnight.

I do the same as Katie with the treats before bed time.
I used to feed my rotties Nutro Natural and never had a problem with it.

Thanks so much. I had no idea. And he does get sick when he has an empty stomach, so you're probably right. It happens in the morning, he won't want eat, just wants to curl up in my bed after I take him out of his crate. And it happened yesterday before I came home from work. He won't eat during the day if my husband or I are not home. He has to wait til we walk in the door.
