Default nutro ???

I really want to put all my dogs on the same food but Im limited to good quality foods in my town my chis are currently on wellness & my basset mix is eating (dont shhot!! haha) pedigree It is a pain to search the yard for bits of pedigree before I let the chis out to potty so I want to have them all eat the same thing if possible. I am thinking about using nutro natural choice adult for them all but I wanted a few second opinions. The only good brands I can buy are wellness (which is out of my price range for the big bag) nutro (max, natural choice & ultra formulas) then you have purina pro plan, Iams, purina one & the rest of the grocery store brands. I really want a good food but I am limited to what I can get. Can anyone offer any suggestions or thought about the nutro brands as to which one would be best for them all?

Nutro Max was the first dog food I started with but Leya didnt seem to like it, then I went to Royal Canin Chihuahua, now I am on Castor and Pollux Natural UltraMix, I have been on this one for quite awhile now, I am very pleased with it, the ingredients are good and its available at Petco. However, every chi is different and I found that Leya likes the natural ultramix alot, you can even see the fruits.its all natural they say, so I am really comfortable with it, the price is also not bad. I know Wellness, Chicken soup for the pet lovers soul, Natural Balance (Petco) are also good choices.

If you have access to Costo, amazingly enough their Kirkland brand dog food isn't half bad. Its WAY better than pedigree or purina and is up their with Nutrience and maybe half a step down from Nutro. You could put your basset on this and it wouldn't be horrble of the chis got a hold of one or two pieces from time to time since its a fairly decent food. And its only 20 bucks canadian for a big bag.

I'm at a point right now where I can't afford some of the more expensive foods, and I did a lot of research before choosing a food for my baby. I have had my adult dogs on Kirkland, and my Chi puppy on Kirkland Puppy. My dogs are all very healthy. My Chi's coat is shiny, and soft, his teeth are nice and clean, he's playful, and alert, and he stays at a nice weight.
I would absolutely recommend Kirkland if you have access to a Cosco. It's reasonably priced, and a healthful food.

I am really happy with Nutro and feed Nutro Natural Choice but have decided to go to the ultra on our next bag. The dogs have shiny coats and great skin but thought I better try the ultra to see if I see anymore of an improvement. I will tell you the dogs love it

Smile nutro nat choice -- pouches

My Lola enjoys the small bites and now Nutro Natural Choice has these moist food pouches in 4 flavors -- I mixed it with the dry food and she can't get enough. And as far as moist food goes not your ordinary looking moist food ... can see rice, peas, carrots and wonderful gravy. Best way to explain looks like the inside of a pot pie!
