Just remember that it will be kind of a shock for the baby to come into a new environment so keep that in mind. I would allow him to rest when he needs to as everything will be overwhelming. I would invest in a crate if you havent already, they are pretty cheap at Walmart. Take a blanket with you and rub it on the mom so you can get her scent on the blanket, this will help him not be so home sick at first. You can use the blanket as the bedding in the crate for time being. Also a crate is a safe haven that will allow him to seek refuge if he gets stressed out.
If it were me, I would buy a tube of Nutrical and keep it on hand just in case you have any Hypoglycemia issues. If you are not free feeding then make sure you feed at least 3 times a day and allow access to food at night.
Also make sure you give him a chew toy of some sort while in his pet carrier on the airplane and maybe a few treats. This will help him if his ears are popping on the airplane.
Dont stress out as it will all fall into place and you have us to help you through it
