Question dexter's weird persistance

so im over my boyfriend's house right now. we had lasagna for dinner mmm! dexter had a sample and he loved it. anyway... as we were watching a movie "clockwork orange" great movie btw. well he jumped off the bed and headed right under the bed,,,i tried calling him out and tempted him with a bullystick. so it worked and then he jumped of again off the bed and i thought he had to poo so i let him down but then he went straight for under the bed again just curious if anyone knew why he was doing this. he didn't do this last time....we also got him buncha new treats/goodies/and new food from the "mutts and butts" store will be taking pics later at home yay oh and he also puked his chicken while we were on our way there haha...poor dexter.

has anyone else been through this "persistance to go under the bed out of nowhere" ?

Awwww, little guy is hiding cause his tummy hurts. Too many treats and diff. foods. Human foods aren't easy for them to digest. I would just stick with his dog food. Poor fella'! Get well soon Dexter.

I was going to say too that he probably is hiding from an upset stomach. Things like lasagna are too spicy for dogs. You're lucky he doesn't have diarrhea.

The carpets are the lucky ones this time.
Save the Lasagna for cartoon cats.

Yeah, I would bet his tummy hurts. If he puked up his chicken then sampled lasagna for the first time and he's in a somewhat new environment, he probably has an icky tummy. Give him a break from all but the blandist of his treats and try not to feed him right before you take him somewhere new or while you are the there the first few times, he should be fine.

It wasn't spicey lasagna and It was just unsauced pasta it (No chese, Sour cream,Tomato Sauce) just a small bit of boiled pasta and ground beef (without any sauce too) My boyfriends cat loves it. It turns out he was only hiding under the bed because my boyfriend kept making weird sounds while watching A Clock Work Orange..He likes the movie a bit too much and he had it playing really loud so Dexter got scared. After he ate we took him out and he seemed very happy. He's such a silly dog~ Thanks for the replies though

I never even considered that Dexter was truly hiding from something. He isn't usually timid around new things is he?
