Exclamation Urgent advice needed on feeding new chi

Hi I am new to this forum and really need some of your experience.
I have purchased a chi on wednesday night and she is so scared it is unbelievable i would sau she is under weight as well.
She is a short coat chi who i have renamed bambi as she has really long legs. She is just so scared.
The problem is as she is so small she won't eat the food I am feeding my other chihuahuas which is ekukanuba dry food. What i really want to know is has anyone else had a experinence with this. She will eat out of my hand what me or my children are eating but will not eat the dog food. Shall i hold out and when she is hungry she will eat it or should i just give her other stuff so she eats. I do not want to get her in the bad habit of eating outr food or treats all the tim or wet food so what do i do some advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

If she is really small and has not ate in tree days you could fix her some boiled chicken and rice and give that to her.

Hi thank you so much for your info, she was being feed a relly cheap supermarket brand in the uk bakers so i am not going to feed her that they did not give me any to carry it over either. I am going to do her some boiled chicken and rice i just don't want to spoil her so she thinks this is what she is going to get as i have 3 other chis and they will all get the same but as someone just said to me she is so little just give her some tlc and then deal with what she eats how do you feel when you are depressed her hip bones stick out so much i htough she had a lump or a tick but it was just her bone. When i got her i had to cut her nails and i cut 1cm off thats how long they were. She is such a scared little girl she will stay with us now but if she gets the chance she will run off to the first little nook and hide andnot come out and isometimes if i try and get her out she will nip me and snarl.
Poor little baby.
Thanks guys i have put a thread on the newbie page aswell if you could leave me any info on that .
Thanks guys

Maybe try a nice bit of chicken to entice her. I find Royal Caninin Mini available from pets at home is great for my Chi's. The pieces are tiny plus it's designed to be extra tasty for fussy dogs.

I would personally hand feed her for a bit until she is happier and not so scared and get in a different food and try her on that.

Sounds to me like she was from a bad breeder.
