Default Feeling Very Frustrated...

I'm so upset.. Daisy has been doing so well with her toilet training seriously i think im the luckiest person in the world with her... but the last couple of days my daughter and i are having our dinner (have taken to feeding daisy at the same time coz i HATE bouncing begging dogs at dinner time) and Daisy decides its time to squat right in front of my face and Wee on my floor. Normally i would be annoyed coz i hadn't taken her out and its my fault.. However i had just taken her out and she did 3 wee's and asked to come back in.

This keeps happening and is really starting to bug me as it makes dinner time with my daughter really hard work as neither of us can relax and enjoy our dinner. I really don't know what to do, i don't want to crate her at dinner time as i think its a major part of family life but its starting to bother me with my dinner. She has managed to scoff hers down so fast today that she now looks like she's got a ball shoved in her tummy where she's bloated out!!!

Sounds really petty regarding my dinner but there are big reasons behind it!!

What do you all do with your dogs at dinner time?

Any advice much appreciated.
Sarah x

I NEVER feed my dogs till we have eaten ,they always get fed last. She seems to be doing a lot of wees if she does 3 times in one go.Maybe a visit to the vets to make sure there's nothing wrong.

I know you dont want to crate her but i would put her in her crate near the dinning table so she is still with you and not isolated. That way she wont pee and mess up your meal.

On the other hand maybe she needs to be taken for a longer walk. My female pees outside anywhere from 2 to 5 times depending on how long we walk her. SOmetimes they just arent done lol.

She's currently on penicillin for a tummy bug anyway so not to worried about that side of things. I was planning on feeding her after us due to the whole leader of the pack thing but the bouncing around did my head in.. she's only 10 weeks so i know im very lucky but its a huge pain when im trying to spend quality time with my little girl.

She's an angel when i'm cooking, just sits quietly at my feet!!!

Thank you - i can't walk her yet.. she's not allowed out on the ground for another 3 weeks!!! We've ran round the garden quite a lot though!! Thinking crating her is going to be the best way to be honest

Ah that's why she 's peeing so much, probably will settle down once she comes off the meds,i used to put Lily in the kitchen if she was naughty while we were eating, she soon learnt and is good as gold now.good luck

i crate one of mine because he would bounce round the table and our other one sits in her bed...but she used to be crated when she was younger when we ate so shes kinda learnt that way

shes young she will learn what you want her to do

I would put her in the crate during dinner. I know it's an important part of family time, but for the human part of the family.
