Default Pet Milk Query

as some of you know, i took in a little rescue chi last month and have been working hard on getting Stottie healthy again.
my main concern with him is that he is still very underweight and barely drinks any water.

so my questions to all you doggie experts is :-

Is Pet Milk good/safe for dogs?
and
Would it be a good idea to give Stottie small amounts of Pet Milk to build him up and keep him hydrated?

so if the petmilk is like his, it should be fine?

oh thanks for answering Pidge
i've not bought any petmilk yet, i was just milling the idea over.
i'll have to look out to see if Catsip is on sale over here as. i've seen another brand targeted at kittens but it never mentioned dogs.

so it's the lactose in milk that causes problems?

yes lactose/dairy messes up their digestive system, you wouldnt want a puking dog

JRZL - i've just been looking at the Pets at Home website. they're currently running multibuy offers on petmilk.

i've been comparing the formulas and ingredients of the cat, kitten and puppy milks.
they're basically the same, only the fat/oils content varies slightly so i think i might try Stottie on the adult cat milk.

Pets At Home do a milk also Royal Canin do one which I use for the puppies when they don't feed.
I would consult your vet first though.
